Cabrillo Club Youth Program Mission Statement
The mission of the Cabrillo Civic Clubs youth clubs program shall be the principles of this organization. Membership in the Cabrillo Civic Clubs Youth Clubs shall be open to students 13 through 18 years of age and enrolled in California high schools grades 9, 10, 11, or 12.
Clubs shall have a mission of leadership training, and to perpetuate in California and the United States, the history and deeds of John Rodrigues Cabrillo and other Portuguese navigators, who have contributed to the discovery and exploration of California and the Pacific Coast.
Each youth club will function within rules and guidelines as set forth by the Cabrillo Civic Clubs of California and all laws of the schools and the State of California where they operate. The clubs will be sponsored by their respective local Cabrillo Civic Club.
