Cabrillo Eulogy
Members and friends of the Cabrillo Civic Clubs of California, heart ache has struck the Cabrillo Civic Clubs of California by taking one of our members, a dear member who gave so very much that our principals shall never be forgotten.
Oh, how fragile is life in this world of grief and sorrow. How our hearts are heavy with grief of our loss and we pray that our noble member will be accepted into the arms of everlasting eternity.
The sorrow of those left behind is in part relieved by the token of love and respect which accompanies this member to the last resting place.
The motive which brought us here today is indeed sad, on the other hand it is consoling , because many of us think of death with indifference will be convinced that we will soon follow.
Let us, therefore, follow the path of our heritage and righteousness, so that at the sounding of our last hour, we may part with the consolation that we will meet our beloved member.
Happy are they, like this member of ours, who leaves loving memories of charitable life. Let us wish that in the kingdom of heaven we will once again join hands with love and comfort.
