Cabrillo Civic Clubs of California This organization shall maintain a high standard of ethical conduct both within the Group in our dealings with fellow members and in our relationships with the community. To achieve this purpose the members of the Cabrillo Civic Clubs of California Incorporated, hereby adopts this Code of Ethics. The Club Ethic Committee shall consist of a chairman who shall be appointed by the President promptly following installation and at least two active members of the club. Allegations of the failure on the part of any member to follow this Code of Ethic will be reviewed by the Ethic Committee whose report and recommendations will be presented to the Board of Directors for further disciplinary action as warranted. Such action may include termination as set forth in the Bylaws, Article X, Section 1 through 4. Termination of membership. Other such disciplinary actions, as may be appropriate, and as may be allowed under statue and parliamentary procedure, may be applied at the direction of the Board of Directors. 1. Members will always act in a polite and courteous manner during all Group activities and all functions dealing with members. 2. Members may not use the Club name or Logo in any activity that results in personal gain. 3. Members may not use their membership or position in the organization to gain special treatment or privilege for their own personal gain. 4. The club name or logo may not be used without specific permission from the Board of Directors. " Name or Logo" shall be assumed to include any common variation, such as Cabrillo Club, when used to refer to the Group. "Specific permissions" implies board action at a regular meeting or a special meeting.
